Mary Jo Pitzl
Mary Jo is a second soprano who simply likes to sing. She doesn’t have a trained musical background, but she sang with the women’s community choir at Phoenix College for 15 years prior to joining VWE. Mary Jo is an investigative reporter at the Arizona Republic/AZCentral, where she has reported on various topics for three decades. She has a hard time getting her work colleagues to attend her concerts since they’ve already heard the music as she likes to sing during her daily duties! She is a proud Central City resident and happy to be a part of the magical experience of joined voices in song.
