Welcome to VWE

Valley Women’s Ensemble is a women’s community choir made up of talented and experienced singers who have a passion for music and the performing arts. The choir rehearses and performs in Phoenix Arizona.

Our Mission is simple: Good Music, Sung Well

Our performances include music from many diverse genres, from Chamber Music and Jazz to Modern Top 40 and Folk, so no matter the type of music you enjoy, you’ll find it with Valley Women’s Ensemble.

Rehearsals & Auditions

The Choir rehearses Monday evenings August through May in Central Phoenix. Auditions are held Mondays, prior to rehearsal. For location and time or to set up a private audition, please contact us at

Concerts & Events

Valley Women’s Ensemble presents two concerts per season in both the winter and the spring. In addition, we have performed at a variety of civic and community events. Be sure to check back to see when and where we’ll be performing next!

2025 Winter Concert

Save the Date! Our 2025 Winter Concert will take place Sunday, December 7 at Faith Lutheran Church, 801 E Camelback Rd! More details to follow soon!

Our New Artistic Director!

VWE is proud to announce our new Artistic Director, Dr. Angelica Dunsavage! Angelica also works as Artistic Director for Phoenix Girls Chorus, and we are excited for the opportunity to support intergenerational singing!

Angelica is a native of the east coast, and has held positions in community choirs, church organizations, K-12 schools, and universities. She received her Doctorate in Music at the University of Arizona. Angelica is also a published arranger, and enjoys setting pieces for treble choir.

This is going to be an exciting season with Dr. Dunsavage at the wheel, so stay tuned on how you can register to join the fun! Rehearsals will start the Monday after Labor Day.
